Step 01

Choose your type of Legal Status

FREE ZONE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (FZ-LLC)

Required Documents
  • Application
  • Business Plan (applicable only for Clinical Activity).
  • Resolution for incorporation for FZ-LLC
  • Proposed Director:
    • A copy of a valid Passport (please include the pages of the valid Residence Permit or Visitor’s Visa page if residing in or visiting UAE).
    • A copy of the Emirates Identity Card residing in UAE (optional).
  • Manager:
    • A copy of valid Passport (please include the pages of the valid Residence Permit or Visitor’s Visa page if residing in or visiting UAE).
    • A copy of the Emirates Identity Card residing in UAE (optional).
  • Legal Representative:
    • A copy of valid Passport (please include the pages of the valid Residence Permit or Visitor’s Visa page if residing in or visiting UAE).
    • A copy of the Emirates Identity Card residing in UAE (optional).
  • Shareholder(s) Details if Natural Person
    • A copy of valid Passport (please include the pages of the valid Residence Permit or Visitor’s Visa page if residing in or visiting UAE).
    • A copy of the Emirates Identity Card residing in UAE (optional).
  • Shareholder(s) Details in case of Foreign company:
    • Company Incorporation Certificate.
    • MOA (Memorandum of Association) and AOA (Articles of Association) of corporate shareholders.
    • Certificate of Continuity or Existence or Good Standing.
    • Ultimate Beneficial Ownership details and their identification documents.
  • Shareholder(s) Details in case of a UAE Company/Establishment:
    • Copy of a valid Trade License issued by the Department of Economic Development.
    • MOA (Memorandum of Association) and AOA (Articles of Association) of corporate shareholders.
    • Copy of the Commercial Register issued by the Department of Economic Development.
    • Ultimate Beneficial Ownership details.


Please note that the resolution and documents of the shareholder who is a corporate person will need to be attested by appropriate authority relevant to the country of origin, the UAE Consulate/Embassy there and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.

BRANCH OF A LOCAL COMPANY OR A BRANCH OF A COMPANY INCORPORATED OUTSIDE THE UAE.

Step 02

Choose Your Type of License

Commercial License

This type of license is relevant to entities performing trading activities. This license allows the holder to import, export, sell, distribute, and store items specified in the license under the head “Activity(ies) on the license.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSE

This type of license is relevant to entities performing professional or service-related activities. Some of the activities are; Hospitals, clinics, Consultancy Services, etc.

INDUSTRIAL LICENSE

This type of license is relevant to entities performing industrial or manufacturing activities. This license allows the holder to import raw materials for the purpose of manufacturing, processing, and/or assembly of specified products, packaging, and exporting of the finished products. Repackaging of the goods is deemed as trading and not industrial.
